I am currently in private practice working in Makati and in the Silang, Cavite area and conduct onsite presentations and workshops for companies and other organisations around Metro Manila.

I am Filipino/British, bi-lingual and regularly work with clients of many nationalities on their emotional and psychological problems, including:

Stress and Anxiety; Depression ; Self-esteem and identity; Personal development ; Relationships; Workplace issues; Abuse / Self-harm; Loss / bereavement; Trauma; Cultural issues

I take an integrative, whole-of-life attitude when working with individual clients.

In complete confidence, and on a short-term or open-ended basis – depending on your need - we work together to explore the underlying cause of your problem, consider what might be stopping you from reaching your full potential; and determine what you might need to do to improve your situation.

This will enable you to better understand and accept yourself, to modify your behaviour so that it is more productive and rewarding for you, and to help you move towards becoming the kind of person you want to be.

I have been personally practicing Mindfulness - an integrated mind/body approach - for over 10 years and include it in my work when appropriate. I find it particularly useful both as a therapeutic tool and also - in our age of information overload** - as a life-management approach in itself. Mindfulness is a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, emotions, and sensations, and it begins when we become aware of our tendency to live our lives on automatic pilot.

**In our information-saturated workplaces and 24/7 lifestyle, this mental skill is becoming as important as emotional intelligence and technical expertise. Research shows that people spend almost 47% of their waking hours thinking about something other than what they’re doing, which impairs their creativity, performance and well being.
